Swimming and sunbathing

The purest waters of the Daugava river will cool you down on a hot sunny day. The riverside equipped with a floating deck which provides easy access for swimming and safe diving. You can sunbathe on the lawn, on the warm stone pedals or on the floating deck.

Outdoor sports

A sports court with night lighting equipped for:

- basketball with hoops on both sides;

- badminton, with a net;

- volleyball.

Ping-Pong table is available.

Fishing

Our location is one of the best fishing spots in Latvia. Record weight catfish have been caught in our waters. Zander, pike, perch, bream, crucian carp – all of these fish can be found in our lake. After a good day of fishing you can enjoy the freshest traditional fish soup “uha”. We will provide the pot and firewood. You may use your own boat or we can rent one out for you. You may choose between a plastic and a rubber boat. Fishing from the floating deck is also possible. Please keep in mind that fishing in Latvia requires a license which is written out to your name and is sold in any specialized fishing store.

Very “quite” hunting

As it is well known, Latvia is full of great spots for mushroom hunting. Our woods are no exception. With a small amount of effort you can easily find enough for a nourishing mushroom soup. If you are interested in this type of leisure, we can organize a mushroom hunting trip to neighboring woods as an additional option.

Boat trips

We can offer you a boat trip on a 90 HP boat alongside the ruins of the Koknese Castle, Plavinas hydro plant, the city of Aizkraukle and the beautiful wild beaches and bays. If you are a fan of a more active type of leisure and you have your own equipment, you may enjoy wakeboarding and waterskiing. Our boat will happily tow you around.
